Amnesty Group Meeting

The Amnesty Group meets in MA6 at 12.30 pm during
Friday lunchtimes (bring a paked lunch).
All years welcome. Just turn up. |
| "The Amnesty Group meets each week to carry
out activities related to the work of Amnesty International.
We write letters on behalf of people whose human rights have
been infringed (eg they have been tortured or unjustly imprisoned
by their governments). We carry out fund-raising on behalf of
our work for Amnesty and send greetings cards before Christmas
to people imprisoned for their political affiliations or beliefs.
On occasion we watch presentations or films about a specific
person or situation." |

Year 7 Activity.
Multi Sports meets in the Sports Hall on Friday afternoons from
3.00 to 4.00pm. |
| "Year 7 Multi Sports runs on a Friday so
pupils can go home on the late bus. We offer three different
activities and these change each half term. A variety of activities
are offered and children can choose when they get there. At
the moment it is squash, basketball and dance. Pupils are welcome
to do a different thing each week if they want." |
